DYC(UK) is pleased to announce that in accordance with Sri Swamiji’s instructions during his visit in February 2013,Bala Datta Classes for children will commence from Saturday April 6th 2013, details of which are as follows.

Bala Datta is a fun filled educational program based on Indian culture for children four years and older. The curriculum focuses on Values, Yoga, Bhajans, Shlokas and Moral stories from our scriptures, in a group setting with trained teachers. Other additional activities such as field trips, debates, group discussions and public speaking opportunities will also help children develop interpersonal skills and creativity.

Bhakti Yoga: Bhajans / Shlokas /Stotrams /Ashtakams / Panchakams / Sahasranamamas

Jnana Yoga: Stories with morals from Puranas, Swamiji’s life history, Living the Bala Datta Pledge

Karma Yoga: Seva and volunteering opportunities, Design and create craft projects

Other Activities: Poster/power point and oral presentations to enhance student’s presentation and public speaking skills Plays/skits Field Trips
