Bank Standing Order
                                                                       Sri Datta Yoga Centre (UK)

                                                         BUILDING PROJECT GIFT AID

Sri Sri Sri Puram Pujya Sri Swamiji has requested DYC ( UK )  to replace its current centre in Garret Lane, Tooting
on so many occasions over the last 3 years with a more spacious centre with car parking spaces and Guru Nilyam
which is  located within convenient distance of London Heathrow Airport

Funding is needed to meet Sri Swamiji’s wish. DYC ( UK ) has estimated that funds of up to £ 1 million will be needed
and is therefore launching an appeal to its devotees to make their donations into a  Building Project Appeal Fund
that has been set up specifically for that purpose i.e, any donation made specifically for the building project  will NOT
be used for any other business purpose in accordance with Charity Commission guidelines.

Devotees may give donation in lump sum or by monthly standing orders.

Purchasing a new building is a long term investment and therefore donors are urged to be generous as well as give
long term commitment i.e. monthly standing orders for a minimum amount of £ 100 for a minimum period of 5 years.

Donation given may also allow DYC UK to claim tax relief on your donation at no extra cost to you at a rate of 28
pence in every £1 donated from the government – see notes below

Please help us to make Guruji’s wish a reality – Be generous in giving your donations

May Sadguru shower his blessings on you.

Jai Guru Datta,

May we please kindly urge you make your commitment by signing attached declaration and completing monthly

I enclose my lump sum donation of £                  and / or an
irrevocable ( i.e. can not be cancelled )  monthly

Notes:

1. To qualify for the Gift Aid Scheme
you must pay an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax at least
equal to the tax that the charity reclaims on your donations
in the tax year (currently this is 28 pence for
  each £1 you give).

2. Why do we claim 28p when I pay tax at 22%? The amount you pay to DYC is treated by the Inland
Revenue as the net amount ( that is after deduction of tax). Therefore if you earn £128, 22% of that equals £28.

3. If you are a higher rate tax payer, you can still sign the deceleration so that all your donations are
covered. You can then personally claim relief on the difference between your higher rate tax and basic rate on
  your self assessment form.

4. Please notify us if you change your address whilst the declaration is in place.

5. In the future if your circumstances change, and you no longer pay sufficient tax to cover the charity reclaims, you
can cancel your declaration by notifying us.

6. The declaration covers all personal donations, including standing orders.

7. For further information speak to Sri Datta Yoga Centre or consult leaflet IR1 13 Gift Aid from the local tax office.
